DAY 14 Prayer for Peaceful Reunification

May agricultural exchanges increase between the North and the South, alleviating the North’s food crisis and spurring mutual development of the agricultural sector.

God of life, we pray for our brothers and sisters in North Korea. Following a series of natural disasters, they suffer from a food crisis every spring. Have mercy on them. Grant that they may have enough daily food. Preserve the woods and forests of North Korea. We pray for an end to the natural disasters, but if they occur, may the North Korean people recover through your grace.

Loving God, we pray for active agricultural exchanges between the North and the South. May we learn from each other and supplement each other in developing needed agricultural technology. Through our mutual exchanges, help us see agricultural progress. May our mutual exchanges and cooperation contribute to increased production while preserving the environment. Grant that the policymakers, agricultural specialists and those directly involved in farming can work closely together, in your grace.
We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

남북한의 농업교류가 활발해져서 북한의 식량위기가 극복되고 남북한 간의 농업이 함께 발전하게 하옵소서.

생명의 하나님, 북한의 동포들을 위하여 기도합니다. 연이은 자연재해로 봄이면 보릿고개를 넘고 있사오니 긍휼을 베풀어 주시옵소서. 하루의 양식을 넉넉하게 얻도록 은총을 베풀어 주시옵소서. 북한의 산림도 훼손되지 않게 하시며 푸른 산하가 되게 하옵소서. 자연재해가 멈추게 하시며 재해를 당할 때에도 잘 복구하도록 은혜를 베푸소서.

사랑의 하나님, 남북 간의 농업교류도 활발하게 이루어지도록 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서. 서로에게서 좋은 점을 배우고 서로의 단점을 보완하여 농업기술의 진보를 이루게 하옵소서. 교류를 통하여 서로 간에 농업기술의 진보를 이루게 하옵소서. 소출을 증대하고 자연을 보전하는 데에 교류와 협력이 도움이 되게 하옵소서. 농업 정책을 맡은 이들, 농업 전문인들, 그리고 손수 농사를 짓는 이들 간에 폭넓게 교류할 수 있도록 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서. 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
